Albert Renger-Patzsch
Albert Renger-Patzsch was a German photographer associated with the New Objectivity. The New Objectivity was a movement of German art that started in the 1920s which was against expressionism. Renger-Patzsch was part of the 'New Photography' alongside August Sander, this brought a 'documentary' style and focus to photographs, which branched off from the more poetic style of photography which was popular at the time. In 1928 he released his second book, The World Is Beautiful. This was a collection of 100 of Renger-Paszch's photos, consisting of organic forms, man-made objects and mass produced objects. This book reflected the style and meaning of art in the New Objectivity movement. Below is my own collection of photos that I think express the inner beauty of things in my world, man made and natural and sometimes both.
